Seattle Children’s Theater
For 50 years, Seattle Children’s Theater (STC) has made the performing arts more accessible and engaging for children of all ages.
As SCT prepared to commemorate five decades of community impact, I helped them refine their core messaging, in collaboration with Mitsui Creative. I also wrote a 30-second brand PSA and developed promotional materials for their 50th anniversary gala.
Brand manifesto
When is it we first fall in love with story? That we discover its power to delight and inspire—and even change the way we see the world?
It’s as a child.
And there is no better place for kids to fall in love with story than the theatre.
Theatre is so much more than live performance. Theatre unleashes the imagination, entertaining the heart while expanding the mind. Theatre nurtures empathy and kindness, connecting people of every background, identity, and origin to a shared story. One where we all belong.
Theatre invites children and grownups alike to imagine a different future, a different way of being—and then, to create it.
For 50 years, Seattle Children’s Theatre has welcomed young people of every age into our cultural community, providing a safe space for them to feel big feelings, think big thoughts, discover their imaginations, and dream new stories into being.
From world-class stage productions to theatre education that teaches skills for the stage and for life as a whole, we are committed to growing good humans—and enriching our community through the power of story.
